Tabbouleh: Granular Audio Effect

I built an audio effect VST that music producers can plug-in to their digital audio workstations, to give their music some extra spice. As a fan of granular synthesis, I built a granulator, and based the parameters off of my favourite salad, the Tabbouleh.

The recipe has a few ingredients that translate into effect parameters:

  • Parsley maps to the audio ‘grains’

  • Tomatoes map to basic synth grains

  • Oil maps to reverberation

You get the picture.

I did not design a UI for it, and opted to use the basic JUCE default. If it is something you would like to try out, check back later, there will be a download link on this page soon.
