Interactive Music Box

The idea with this project was to create a fun interactive piece of music that reacted to the inputs the box received.

The box is made of plywood, powered by a 9V battery and Arduino Nano, connected to my computer via Bluetooth. I had a Reaper session open, which was entirely controlled via MIDI, itself generated live by a MaxMSP patch.

The sounds generated, the chords outlines, and the tempo of the piece are all directly controlled live.
